I'm Now on 43 Things

I have many goals that I'm working on right now.  Some of the goals are relevant to the topics of this blog, some are not.  I joined 43 Things so that I can keep track of my progress on a variety of goals and blog there, especially for goals that are not so relevant to this blog.  I am brand new on 43 Things and still haven't figured out how to message people directly, but if you are on 43 Things, I think we can subscribe to each other to support one another.  I don't have 43 things that I want to do yet, but I will soon.  Visit me at Buddhatropolis on 43 Things.

One thing you do know how to do, is share lovely blooms with us. Such a deep red.

The flower is dazzling and I should know its name, but it's not coming to me at the moment...

RED OR YELLOW?

If you have a penchant for red,
Then scarlet will go to your head;
But if it is gold
You’d rather behold,
Then plant yellow roses instead.

You are an ambitious gal! Thanks for the follow - will follow you! (BTW, I like the "cupcake" term a whole lot better than "chuckie" or "cho-cha."

@Myrna, LV- Thank you. I was taking care of a friend who had heart bypass surgery, and this flower was outside of one of her appointments. She told me that they are such a sign of hope and that they only bloom for one day. Once I heard that, I just had to take a cell phone picture.

@Magical Mystical Teacher- Hibiscus. Thanks for sharing that beautiful rhyme. I love it.

@Kristy- Because I speak Spanish, chocha is probably the word I use most, but cupcake is totally my new replacement. Never heard of "chuckie". The one I dislike most is cuca because it sounds like cuckoo, plus it reminds me of Jersey Shore.

And just so everyone doesn't think Kristy and I are off-topic and crazy, check out the best cupcakes ever. OK, maybe I'm a little off-topic. :)
